From Kildress to mainland Europe
SA3 Power was established in 2017 and is headquartered in Kildress, County Tyrone. It has grown from a local electrical contractor into an international business delivering mission-critical electrical projects across Ireland and mainland Europe.
Over the past year its teams have supported live projects in Ireland, France, the Netherlands and Germany, while investment in its Amsterdam Prefabrication Facility and Frankfurt Offsite Manufacturing Facility has strengthened its ability to support major projects throughout Europe.
What the awards recognise
Exporter of the Year reflects the company’s expansion beyond Northern Ireland, building relationships and a European presence across new markets.
The Fast Growth Award recognises the pace of the company’s development, underpinned by investment in people, infrastructure, safety and capability so that its ability to deliver grows with the scale and complexity of its projects.
For clients and partners, that means greater capacity, broader international experience and a delivery model built for major, fast-moving data centre and critical infrastructure projects.
Rooted in County Tyrone
Although its footprint continues to expand, SA3 Power’s management, design, procurement, commercial and strategic functions remain based in County Tyrone.
The company thanked its teams on site and in the office, along with its clients, contractors, suppliers and partners, as well as category sponsors 4SM and Artemis Human Capital and organisers Treena Clarke, Sean McIntosh and North-West News Group. See more of SA3 Power’s awards and recognition.
Why Europe’s data centre market matters
Demand for data centres continues to grow across Europe, driven by cloud computing, digital services and artificial intelligence. The largest markets, including Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, Paris and Dublin, need contractors who can mobilise experienced teams quickly and deliver complex electrical installations to tight programmes.
How prefabrication supports growth
Prefabricating electrical assemblies off site, in controlled factory conditions, reduces the amount of work carried out on busy construction sites. It can improve quality and safety, shorten installation times and make programmes more predictable. SA3 Power’s facilities in Amsterdam and Frankfurt allow it to support projects in both markets.
