SA3 Power Holds Annual Lessons Learned Session in Frankfurt

SA3 Power held its annual Lessons Learned session at its Frankfurt office on Thursday 27 August 2026, bringing together colleagues from projects across Europe to review the previous 12 months.

  • Event: Annual Lessons Learned session
  • Date: Thursday 27 August 2026, 13:00–18:00
  • Location: SA3 Power office, Frankfurt
  • Attendees: Project teams from across Europe
  • Topics: Commercial, Operations, Health & Safety

The afternoon session looked at what worked, what did not, and where the business can improve.

Three areas under review

  • Commercial: how the business works with clients and supply chain partners.
  • Operations: planning, programme, resourcing, installation quality and handover.
  • Health & Safety: site behaviours and how everyone is kept safe.

Identifying recurring issues

Teams were asked to identify problems that had occurred more than once over the past year. Each issue was discussed openly and turned into practical actions for project teams to take back to site.

Continuous improvement

Actions from the session feed into SA3 Power’s procedures, planning and training, supporting its HSEQ standards and the quality clients expect on data centre and mission-critical projects.

How an effective lessons learned review works

  • Look back honestly: collect what went well and what went wrong, without blame.
  • Find patterns: focus on problems that happened more than once.
  • Agree actions: turn each issue into a specific change with an owner.
  • Close the loop: update procedures, training and planning so the change sticks.

Why it matters to clients

Clients benefit when contractors learn from every project. Fewer repeated issues mean smoother installations, fewer delays and more predictable handovers on future work, which is particularly important on fast-track data centre programmes.
